Can Poker become successful console game? 5/6/05

I was just reading that it looks like its not just the athletes that are getting into the video game world but poker star Daniel Negreanu will have his own video game, Stacked. Stacked will be on the PS2, Xbox, Computer and the PSP, so look out for this game because pretty much anything you have, will be supported. This is really something that the poker industry has not yet cashed in on. There really is no one video game that really captures the poker feel and this game is planning on doing it. In stacked they are creating it so there will be online mutli table tournaments just like on the internet today. This is going to be a pretty intresting video game...They say they have put alot of work in the AI so unlike other video games the computer will actually be smart and so you won't be able to think you are poker god....like other computer oppenents sometimes make you feel. Looks like Daniel Negreanu is backing this game...It is always nice to have a name brand that is already recognized within the poker industry. Daniel Negreanu won the player of the year award and has been really tearing up the poker world. Look out for this game summer 2005!
