Owner of UPS store wins 2007 WSOP Event

Mike Spegal, 39, has recently won a 2007 WSOP Event. He is the owner of a UPS store and Wildcat Equipment. He was playing the WSOP while on his 9th anniversary with his wife. He went up against many professionals in the tournament including Gavin Smith  at the final table who has 20 years of gambling experience. Spegal was the underdog, who 5 hours after the final table was set, took home $252,290 and a gold bracelet.

He will be playing the 2007 WSOP main event and while being interviewed said he has already been approached numerous times to have his buy-in taken care of if he wears the clothes of the sponsor. He also said that he won’t be quitting his day job anytime soon because the gambling life was too stressful.
