World Poker Open 2007 - Final Table
January 25, 2007 on 3:38 am | In WPT, Live Poker, Poker News |With a field of 294 players whittled down to less than 10, we’re sitting on some exciting action at the World Poker Open 2007 in Tunica Mississippi.
Some note-able names made it to the final table: Daniel Negreanu, Kido Pham, and J.C. Tran all making the cut. Amir Vahedi and Gavin Smith both finished in the top 20, with Hoyt Corkins/Mark Seif/Victor Ramdin going out around 22-24.
There are 6 players remaining for this final table.
Young Cho - $2,570,000
Daniel Negreanu - $1,296,000
Kido Pham - $781,000
Bryan Sumner - $596,000
Gary Kainer - $514,000
J.C. Tran - $181,000
It looks like its pretty well locked up for first, but as we all know, things can change dramatically very quickly in poker. I’d predict J.C. Tran to move up and finish around 4th, with Daniel taking 2nd or possibly 1st. It should be an interesting final table.
