Poker Game Broken up in Newport

On Monday night in Newport Tennessee authorities raided a poker cash game. More then 50 people were in the building during the raid at 9:30pm. No one at the The Sportsman’s Club were arrested but charges are currently pending. One firearm was found and gambling paraphernalia (poker chips and tables?). Efforts by authorities to stop illegal card rooms all over the United States have been underway with the code name “Rose Thorne” probe.
