Full Tilt Poker’s FTOPS V Series Shatters Expectations

The popularity of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) V Poker event continues to grow and its garnering more support and interest from poker players and fans alike in the whole world. With over $7 million at stake in more than 14 poker tournaments, the results exceeded most people’s expectations, with each FTOPS V event drawing record setting participants that contributed to the over all pool prize money of over $10.5 million.

The FTOPS event 12, which Phil Ivey hosted, was the first time that the Full tilt Poker hosted a two day event and guarantees an outstanding pool prize of at least $600,000. A total of 648 of the finest poker players registered to join with a buy in amount of $2,500, but the popularity of the event grew and the participants increased the total pool prize balloons into a spectacular $1,600,000. Grndhg25 won this event and eventually taking home the first price amounting to over $396,000.

Currently, more than 25,000 poker players have played in all 14 events of the FTOPS V series, making it as one of the best tournament series in the history of Full Tilt Poker.
