Free online poker with rewards?

August 21, 2007 on 1:12 pm | In Poker News |

Earth Times reports that Ujogo, a new website that provides rewards-based online games for US players, has released the beta version of its first online game: poker. No surprise there, as poker is one of the most popular games online with over 30 million
US players logging over 5 billion gaming hours per year.

These are impressive statistics, but only a mere 20% of these players are paying customers while the bigger 80% chunk passes time on free online poker games.

The people at Ujogo thought that this 80% who play for nothing cannot experience the thrill of real poker games thus they don’t really learn the proper concepts of poker playing. So Ujogo decided to cater to this larger free-playing market by creating an online poker gaming site that not only rewards winners, but also gives players tips on how to improve their game.

Ujogo’s online poker includes poker training, poker educational tools, and a social interaction network. Players can also read the news, watch videos, and get to know other players through their profiles on Ujogo. Ujogo online poker players are given the chance to win creative prizes such as electronic devices, gadgets, and gift cards.
