Mansion Poker is launching one of the most ambitious guaranteed tournament schedule ever. They are offering a guaranteed $100k a day starting January 3rd. This is a very rare thing for a poker room to do as most poker rooms try to make sure they don’t guaranteed anything that the tournament buy-in’s won’t cover. It looks like for at least the first week of tournaments word won’t get out fast enough and the tournament will mostly be funded by Mansion with the players in the tournament the big winner. To play in this poker tournament there are satellites running all day ($10 dollar re-buy tournaments and $20 freezeout). If you are looking to buy-in directly it will cost you $100 dollars. This is a pretty big gamble for mansion as this could really drive traffic to their poker platform or really bust as they have to shell out a lot of money for tournaments not filling up. This is not even offered by the worlds biggest online poker room Poker Stars which does have a couple big guaranteed but nothing over 50k. This is twice as much as anything else anyone has offered.
