Women’s Online Poker Games?

It looks like there is a new target audience for online poker rooms. It looks like women are making up a surprising amount of online poker players. eCOGRA has just released findings of a study done that 30% of online players are women up from 15% in 2004. I am trying to think what resulted in the current influx of new women poker players. It seems like players like Annie Duke and Jennifer Harman and Barbara Enright could have helped as they play in major televised poker tournaments. I hope this trend keeps going as the more poker players the better.
