Multi-Tabling Poker

August 23, 2006 on 7:09 am | In Online Poker Play |

How many different poker games of No Limit Hold-em could I handle when I am trying to play good poker? I asked this question to myself and decided to try to see how I would do with 4 poker tables open. This task wasn’t too hard in the beginning as I was dealt weak hands and it was as easy as fold, fold, fold. But a couple times I was dealt three playable hands in good position. It was much harder at this point because I couldn’t focus my attention on the other opposing player as I had to quickily act on the table that I had as little time to act… I didn’t do very well after an hour of playing 4 tables. One table I was up and the other three I was down about a quarter of my stack. It looks like 2 tables is good enough for me as I seem to do well in both tables…most of the time. Maybe 3 tables if one is a tournament.
