Kahnawake Gaming Commision Absolute Poker Audit Results

One of the biggest stories of 2007 in the online poker industry was the scandal at Absolute Poker. One of the employees was using a super account and was able to see hole cards and won multiple tournaments using this unfair advantage. When this happened the Kahnawake Gaming Commission which is basically a regulatory body for the online gambling sites took action. They immediately did an audit of Absolute Poker has have come up some facts and the the conclusion that thisĀ  did indeed happen (there was a superuser) but it was not sanctioned or initiated by AP and they have since put in place many security measures to make sure this doesn’t happen again. They will also have to pay a half million dollars and are subject to random audits for the next two years.
