Full Contact Poker, the poker forum and gaming site founded by WSOP and WPT champion Daniel Negreanu, announced this week that they would be merging player accounts with PokerStars.com and returning to a forum and information site only. FCP will transfer all player point balances as well as cash, so players will see no dropoff in bonuses or frequent player points.
Full Contact Poker will maintain Negreanu’s blog and video diary, as well as its popular message boards, while weekly community tournaments and other special events will all now be held on PokerStars.com, the largest online poker site in the world. PokerStars grew to fame on the basis of its tournament strengths, and has in recent years grown its cash game business to match.
All player balance transfers will be completed by June 14th, and after that time players will be able to verify their identity with PokerStars and play or withdraw their money if they choose. The Full Contact Poker Room and Casino is now closed as of today, June 13.
