NBC National Heads Up Tourney
February 29, 2008 on 12:02 am | In Live Poker, Poker News |The 2008 NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship has begun play today in Las Vegas, Nevada. The poker tournament is invite only with 64 of the top poker professionals and celebrity players taking part in the tournament. The tournament is being played in the Caesars Palace Poker Tournament Room and will continue through March 2nd.
The tournament will be aired on NBC on April 13, 2008. The prize pool for the tournament is $500,000. Past heads up winners will compete: Paul Wasicka, Ted Forrest and Phil Hellmuth against celebrity players including Jason Alexander and Shannon Elizabeth.
