Over on Scott Fischman’s blog at Cardplayer.com, there’s an interesting post about the differences in play and styles based on region of the United States or around the world. Now, paying attention to your opponents at the table is one of the biggest ways to play solid poker; but he brings up a lot of good points and generic ideas and things he’s noticed. If you play a lot and hop around from your local town to larger casinos to Vegas and Atlantic City, it’s worth the read just to get some insight and develop new strategies based on who you’re playing against.
