On Friday Gus Hanson beat the entire field in Australia to take home the first prize of 1.5 million dollars. Gus Hanson was in second place going into the final table with over 4 million chips. The event was sponsored by Full Tilt Poker.net and it just so happens that Gus Hanson is a part of Team Full Tilt Poker so the event was especially great for Full Tilt.
