2007 WSOP Charity Poker Tournament Players Announced
May 18, 2007 on 12:32 am | In Live Poker, WSOP, Poker News |Many celebrities will be at the Harrah’s Hotel in Las Vegas on July 5th where the 2007 WSOP celebrity charity poker tournament will be played. The poker tournament will be called “Ante Up For Africa” with the proceeds from the event being donated to the crisis in Darfur.
Hollywood Stars:
Ben Affleck, Jason Alexander, Hank Azaria, Cheadle, George Clooney, Matt Damon, George Lopez, Danny Masterson, Brad Pitt, Mekhi Phifer, Ray Romano, Adam Sandler, Jennifer Tilley and James Woods.
Poker Players:
Andy Bloch, Doyle Brunson, Duke, Phil Ivey, Clonie Gowan , Howard Lederer, Phil Hellmuth, Phil Gordon, Joe Hachem, Chris Ferguson, Barry Greenstein, Robert Williamson III, Phil Laak, Ted Forrest, Mike Matusow and Erik Seidel
Players do not have to pay in the tournament but tournament organizers are accepting donations from players. It is expected that most players will donate $5000 or more.
